        Eyelash Extension service is performed by Winnie Chow of Micro Skin Care. Micro Skin Care is located in a professional building. It is very spacious and quiet, and you will not encounter any chemical fumes (hair spray, nail polish, etc.) as in ordinary salons.

      Eyelash Extensions Q&A

        What are eyelash extensions made of?
        They are made of a synthetic, weightless material that are soft and look identical to human lashes. The adhesive is formulated for a semi-permanent bond and dries softly on the lashes.

        Do the synthetic lashes damage natural lashes?
        No. The adhesive we use is of best quality.

        How long do they last?
        It depends on the growth cycle and the stage of that cycle of each lash. You can shower, exercise, and even sleep with them on. However, your own lashes will grow out on a continuous cycle. Touch-ups are recommended every 2-3 weeks to maintain the fullness of lush lashes.

        Can I use mascara?
        The extensions darken your lashes. Your lashes will look vivid, and mascara may not even be necessary. If desired, you may wear water-based mascara on the tip for enhancement. However, waterproof mascara or mascara remover will weaken the bonding.

        Can the synthetic lashes be removed?
        Yes, at any time for any reason. The procedure takes about 20 minutes or less.

        Will this irritate my eyes?
        We use a very expensive non-fume adhesive that will not cause irritation or tearing.

        How long are the eyelash extensions?
        The length of the eyelash extensions range between 6 and 13mm. The thickness range between .15 and .20mm. Our trained esthetition will select the ideal size to enhance your own natural lashes.

        Can anyone get eyelash extensions?
        If you have any of the following conditions, we cannot perform the eyelash extension procedure: Asthma, Blepharitis (inflammation of the eyelids), Eye allergies, Eye irritation or redness, Glaucoma, Pregnancy, Psoriasis, Tearing, Thyroid problems - medication can cause hair loss.

        How do I prepare for your service?
        You should not wear contact lenses during this service. Make sure you bring your glasses (if you need them) to drive home. Do not arrive with eye makeup or mascara. The use of eye makeup removers containing P.E.G. (polyethylene glycol), propylene glycol, or any other glycol-based ingredients will result in failure of lashes to bond.
