About Kaiulani
Kaiulani has broad-based knowledge, comprehensive training and performance experience in music, theatre, film and dance for over 17 years.
Her extensive acting experience in musicals & theatre led to her career expansion as a musician and singer songwriter, with an expertise in piano, voice, and songwriting (emphasis in pop, rock, musicals/show-tunes, jazz/blues, and classical.) She writes both music and lyrics. Her training includes the prestigious NYU
Tisch School of The Arts, Broadway Theatre Project, Speech Level Singing, Extensive Piano Coaching, Joffrey/ABT Dance Programs and much more.She performs regularly at Los Angeles venues (Hotel Cafe, Genghis Cohen, Temple Bar, Molly Malones, etc.) and has performed and worked with some of the best in the business in the music and music theatre world. She owns copyrights on over 50 pieces of original tunes and has spent extensive time in many LA recording studios, including The Record Plant, Zen Den, and 4th St. Recording.Alongside
performing and coaching, she also mentors and produces with other artists and sits on panels for young artists and performers. Recently she co-produced and released her own record of original tunes, Break Open. Break Open has received excellent TV, radio and newspaper exposure.Growing up in the piano, voice, theatre, film and dance communities, Kaiulani brings an integral and genuine appreciation and understanding of the creative professional world to her coaching sessions.
